The amazing attractions of Sydney

Sydney offers some fantastic sights and attractions for visitors. The area is perfect if you enjoy nature and want to take your accommodation with you, whether you are camping, taking a caravan or driving a well equipped motorhome.

Around Sydney there are an abundance of coastal walks offering stunning views of this incredible part of the world. The walks range in difficulty and length so there is a trail to suit new and experienced hikers alike. One of the most celebrated routes is the Hermitage Foreshore Track. The 1.5km trail is graded as easy and takes around an hour to walk each way. You may find yourself taking much longer than that though because there are countless photo opportunities, stunning beaches and places to stop for a picnic.

It is 27.4km long and takes two days to complete each way. The trail offers picturesque cliff top views, great beaches and a range of attractions including snorkelling. Walkers traditionally start at Bundeena but if you go the opposite way the first day is easier.

Sydney is also a great location for sport lovers. There are as many cycling trails as there are walking routes and they also range in length and difficulty to suit everyone. Golfers are well catered for with a number of outstanding courses to choose from. There are several championship quality ones including Moore Park and Mona Vale.

If you prefer water sports there are spots for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving and kayak hire too. There are numerous great sights to see from the water for both beginners and experienced people. Bare Island is one of the most popular spots. The reefs around the island are attractive and are home to many varieties of marine wildlife.

Whether you choose camping, caravanning or motorhome hire you can get a unique look at Sydney and all the wonderful qualities it has to offer.
